How is our Henna Powder made?
Our organic henna leaves are harvested from farms in Rajasthan, then hand-sorted, shade-dried, powdered, and sieved multiple times to create a fine, smooth powder. It is 100% henna leaves powder with no other ingredients added.
Benefits of Henna for hair:
Henna is mainly used as a natural dye for hair if you have greys. For people with black hair, it helps add natural shine and conditions the hair.
Use of natural Henna Leaves Powder:
Used as a herbal hair dye and also for traditional mehendi stains on hands.
What color does Henna give to hair?
Pure henna powder (free from additives or chemicals) converts greys and whites into orange-brown tones. For darker brown or black shades, it can be used along with Indigo Leaves Powder.
How long does Henna color last on hair?
Color payoff and stain retention of henna and indigo vary from person to person, unlike salon hair colors. It also depends on the water quality and shampoo used for washing hair.
How to make Henna paste for hair dye?
Traditionally, henna is soaked overnight in an iron vessel to bring out its color. Many people also add amla pulp powder, black tea, or coffee for better color payoff.
Organic, chemical-free Henna for hands:
Our henna contains only finely powdered henna leaves and can be safely used for hand staining (mehendi). It is suitable for people allergic to chemical-laden henna available in the market.
